The steps, in order
Make sure it is the right app
Several apps in both stores have nearly identical names. The one described here is called Smart IPTV and shows a MAC address on its first screen with no login field anywhere. If yours asks for a username, you have a different app and should follow the Smarters route instead.
Install it and photograph the MAC
Search the Samsung or LG store for Smart IPTV, install, and open it once. Photograph the MAC address it displays rather than writing it down. You will need it again after any reset, any reinstall and every time you change the playlist, and reading it off a television menu later is more tedious than it sounds.
Upload the playlist from another device
Go to siptv.app/mylist on a phone or laptop. Type the MAC exactly as shown, colons included, paste your M3U link into the URL field, tick "Keep online" and press Send. That tick box is what stops the playlist quietly disappearing a fortnight later, and it is easy to miss.
Restart the app on the television
Close it fully rather than backing out, then open it again. The channels and guide load from the playlist you just sent. Give it a moment on the first run: the list is long and this hardware is modest, which is precisely why you chose this app.
Activate when the trial ends
Seven days come free, then it asks a small one-time activation for that specific television at siptv.app/activation. That payment belongs to the app's developer and has nothing whatever to do with your subscription here. We receive none of it and would rather say so plainly.
Refresh the list before a long evening
Because this app holds a snapshot rather than a live connection, a playlist uploaded months ago drifts out of date while the account behind it remains perfectly healthy: channels move, get renumbered or disappear from your copy while still existing upstream. Re-sending the same M3U at siptv.app/mylist pulls a current copy and takes about a minute. On this player that re-upload is effectively your reset button, and it resolves a category of problems that would otherwise look like account faults.
What usually goes wrong on this device
The upload succeeds but the television shows nothing
Wait a minute and restart before assuming failure. Then check the MAC was entered exactly, colons and all, because one wrong character sends your playlist to a television that does not exist. Note also that the app holds one playlist at a time, so a second upload replaces the first rather than adding to it.
It emptied itself after a reset
Factory-resetting the set clears the stored list, and so does reinstalling the app. Neither touches your subscription. Upload the M3U again at siptv.app/mylist against the same MAC and everything returns, which is why the photograph matters.
Channels play but no guide appears
Smart IPTV needs the schedule supplied separately as an EPG URL in some configurations. Ask support for the xmltv address for your account and add it in the app settings, or move to a player that carries the guide along with the login.
The activation page will not accept payment
That page belongs to the app developer rather than to us and its payment options vary by country. If it refuses, use IPTV Smarters instead, which carries no activation fee at all. Nothing about your subscription changes; only the player does.
Deciding between this and IPTV Smarters
Both run on Samsung and LG and the choice is genuinely situational rather than a matter of one being better. Choose Smart IPTV when the television is a 2016 or 2017 model and struggles with anything heavy, because the weight difference is real and immediately noticeable on that hardware. Accept in exchange that there is no login screen, that the MAC upload will confuse you the first time, and that a small one-time fee follows the trial. Choose IPTV Smarters when the set is newer, because it is free, takes an ordinary login and needs no second device to configure. The one situation where Smart IPTV is clearly right despite a newer television is a household where somebody wants the absolute minimum on screen and never intends to change anything.

Why is there no login screen?
Because the app deliberately holds no account logic at all: it fetches a list from a MAC-keyed slot on the developer's server and plays it. That design is why it stays responsive on televisions that struggle with heavier apps, and it is the reason to choose it on an older Samsung or LG.
Do I pay you for the activation?
No. That fee belongs to the app developer and is charged once per television. It is unrelated to your subscription, and if you would rather not pay it at all, IPTV Smarters has no equivalent charge.
Smart IPTV or Smarters on an older set?
On a 2016 or 2017 panel, Smart IPTV, because the weight difference is genuinely noticeable. On anything newer, Smarters, because it is free and takes an ordinary login. That is the whole decision.
Do I pay the activation once or every year?
Once, for that specific television, and it does not renew. Replace the set and the new one has a different MAC and needs its own activation. If you change televisions often, that alone is a reasonable argument for the free Smarters app instead.
What happens if I change television?
The new set has its own MAC address, so the playlist needs uploading against it and the activation fee applies again for that television. Photograph the new MAC when you install the app, the same as before, and the upload takes two minutes.
Can I change the playlist later?
Yes, by uploading a new M3U against the same MAC address at siptv.app/mylist. The new list replaces the old one rather than adding to it, since the app holds exactly one. That is also how you refresh a list that has drifted out of date, which is worth doing every few months.
