What you get is an ordinary account rather than a trimmed demo: every channel, the whole on-demand library, the guide and the 4K feeds, running for 24 hours. A cut-down version would defeat the purpose, because the thing being tested is not our service in the abstract. It is whether the specific hardware in your living room decodes these feeds without complaint. Trials are issued by hand over WhatsApp, which is marginally slower than an automated system and means somebody is available to configure the player with you.
OpenTivi Trial: What Happens When You Ask
- Use the form, or message WhatsApp directly, naming the device you intend to watch on.
- Three values come back within about fifteen minutes, together with the walkthrough for that hardware.
- Follow that guide rather than a generic sequence. It names the menus your device actually has.
- Watch for 24 hours. If the hardware holds up, choose a plan and the same credentials simply continue.
Test the Right Device, Not the Easy One
The commonest way a trial gets wasted is by running it on a laptop. Laptops are fast, modern, sit near the router and handle almost anything, so they tell you nothing about the eight-year-old television at the other end of the flat. If that television is where you plan to watch, that is what the trial belongs on.
The same applies to the connection. Test at the hour you would normally watch, on the network you would normally use. A stream that behaves at eleven in the morning on a quiet line proves rather less than one that behaves at nine in the evening with everybody home. Both of those are hardware and network questions rather than questions about the subscription, which is exactly why they are worth answering before you pay.
What It Costs You
Nothing at all, and no card. One trial to a household, because it exists to settle the hardware question rather than to hand out free television. If it went genuinely wrong the first time, or you have since changed the device you were testing on, tell us and we will normally extend it.
Asked About the Trial
What is the trial for?
Answering one question: does this run properly on the hardware you already own. That is the only thing worth establishing before money changes hands, and it cannot be answered by reading. 24 hours, every channel open, on your own equipment.
Do I need a card?
No card, no billing details and nothing to cancel. The trial is arranged over WhatsApp or through the form on this page, runs for 24 hours, then stops by itself. It will not roll into anything.
What does it include?
Everything a paid account has: all 25,000+ channels, the full on-demand library, the guide and the 4K feeds. A trimmed demo would not tell you what you need to know, because the whole point is watching your own device cope with the real thing.
Which device should I test on?
The one you actually intend to use, not the easiest one. A trial that works beautifully on a laptop tells you very little about the eight-year-old television in the living room. If you plan to watch on both, install it on both; the same credentials work everywhere.
How long does it take to arrive?
Usually a few minutes. Trials are issued by hand rather than automatically, which is marginally slower and means somebody is available to get the player configured on your device at the same time.
Can I have a second trial?
Normally one per household, because it exists to answer the hardware question rather than to supply free television. If something genuinely went wrong the first time, or you have since changed the device you were testing on, say so and we will usually extend it.
